Privacy Policy - Compose Software Ltd
General
Compose Software Ltd and its employees respect the privacy needs of our clients, and the recipients of any emails sent and received. We do not share any information with third parties on any client or individual, and we respect all information contained in our email software and related delivery engines as being confidential.
We will not sell, rent, loan or allow external access to a client's email contact list. Nor will we use our client's email contact lists for any purpose other than those agreed to in writing.
Licensor Privacy Policy
Compose Software's clients who use Compose CMS for sending emails are (Licensees) of Compose CMS and as such have agreed that the Licensor (Compose Software Ltd) and its affiliates may collect and retain information about the Licensee, including contact names and company details plus archive files of all email marketing campaigns and related services utilising the software and the associated email marketing service.
Collection and Use of Information
Our clients use Compose CMS to send their own customers, and known prospects information that known email recipients have requested. Compose CMS allows recipients to select to receive, or not receive, certain information from Compose CMS clients and adheres strictly to permission-based email policy. Compose Software Ltd or their clients will not send recipients unsolicited email information, or commercial offers and advertisements. All emails that recipients have requested will include an option to unsubscribe. Unsubscribe requests are fulfilled promptly and no further communications will be sent to recipients who have stated that they do not wish to receive the specified information.
Email Messages
Compose Software Ltd is a responsible email service provider and as such we abide by and hold our clients to the following principles
· Permission means that informed consent has been given.
· Permission must be respected and honoured and may be withdrawn by a subscriber at any time.
· If Permission is withdrawn, no further communication may be sent to the subscriber.
Privacy Policy Changes
We reserve the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy, at any time and without prior notice, by posting the revised version of this Privacy Policy on our website. These changes will only apply to personal information we collect after we have posted the revised Privacy Policy.
Governing Law
Both Compose Software Ltd and our clients acknowledge that Compose CMS is subject to New Zealand law and in most cases applicable international laws that apply to email marketing, where these laws relate to our clients use of Compose CMS to send email campaigns to recipients who live outside of New Zealand.
The application of the United Nations Convention of Contracts for the International Sale of Goods is expressly excluded.
